An antique candle wall sconce that has been professionally rewired for use with electric bulbs. This elegant two-light fitting retains the appearance of traditional candle lighting while offering the convenience of modern electrics.

The sconce features a deeply dished rectangular backplate with rounded corners and decorative crimped edges, giving it a distinctive period look. The ornate double arms are embellished with scrolling details and decorative finials, supporting a pair of candle-style lights fitted with cream faux candle sleeves. Takes 2 x E14 small candle bulbs (not included).

This example displays an attractive aged finish with rich gilt tones and a heavily weathered surface, creating a particularly characterful antique appearance.

This is a reclaimed antique light fitting. It has been professionally rewired and tested to ensure it is in working order at the point of sale. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician or other suitably qualified professional. We accept no liability for damage, injury or loss resulting from incorrect installation or use. As a reclaimed item, minor age-related marks, wear and variations in finish should be expected and form part of its character.
