A highly detailed antique chandelier that features an exceptional design inspired by decorative textiles and floral arrangements.

The central body is formed as a woven basket overflowing with finely modelled leaves, flowers and trailing vines. Every element has been carefully cast to create a rich, three-dimensional composition with remarkable depth and detail.

Instead of conventional support arms or chains, the basket is suspended from cast gilded bands modelled as flowing fabric ribbons. These rise to an elaborate knotted bow at the top, creating one of the chandelier's most distinctive decorative features.

Sculpted tassels hang from either side of the basket, reinforcing the illusion of draped fabric. The combination of floral decoration, ribbons and tassels gives this chandelier an elegant and highly decorative appearance typical of fine period lighting. It holds six candles arranged evenly around the basket.
