Original ROUEN ROAD street sign with a distressed white painted finish and black border.

The sign displays "ROUEN ROAD" in bold black lettering. The shaped border features notched corners, giving the sign its distinctive period design. Original mounting holes remain in place at each end and in the centre, ready for wall fixing.

Rouen Road was created in 1962 as part of the redevelopment of central Norwich. The street was named to mark the twinning of Norwich with the French city of Rouen, giving this sign an interesting connection to the city's post-war history.

This is a reclaimed item with signs of age and previous use. Please check the images carefully to assess the condition before purchasing.
