This Rococo-style wall sconce follows 18th-century French Louis XV design.

Brass frame with C-scrolls, acanthus leaves, and a scallop shell on the backplate. The swan-neck arm holds the light from a circular ring, giving it a suspended, lantern-like form. The metal gallery above the globe has leaf and petal shapes that connect the design of the globe to the arm. The glass globe is diamond-cut, breaking the light into a soft, even glow. The backplate hides the wiring.

This is a reclaimed antique light fitting. It has been professionally rewired and tested to ensure it is in working order at the point of sale. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician or other suitably qualified professional. We accept no liability for damage, injury, or loss resulting from incorrect installation or use. This fitting requires 1 x B22 mini globe bulb. Bulb not supplied. As a reclaimed item, minor age-related marks and wear should be expected and form part of its character.
