Reclaimed galvanised steel pressure tank with horizontal cylindrical body.

Approximate capacity 800 litres. Fabricated from galvanised steel raised on supporting legs. Several original pipe connections remain in place including a large inlet / outlet at the front of the cylinder along with a with a bolted circular inspection plate and another below to the rear.

The galvanised surface shows typical age marks with light surface corrosion around some fittings. Tanks of this type were commonly used within pumped water systems to maintain pressure and reduce pump cycling.
