This antique cart jack is a functional relic from a bygone era, once used to lift horse-drawn carts and wagons for wheel changes or axle maintenance. Made from wrought iron, it features a tall, perforated post for height adjustment, a curved lifting arm, and a sturdy base designed to stabilise on rough ground. The original chain and locking mechanism are still intact. A nice example of simple yet practical 19th or early 20th century engineering. It has a beautifully aged, rusted patina consistent with its age and use. Please view the images carefully to assess its condition.
